StudyOnline.ie launched- Accountancy and Finance Study Portal

Press Release – 20th April 2016

Kildare-based educator, Cenit College, has launched Ireland’s first dedicated accountancy & finance online study portal, StudyOnline.ie.

The website is dedicated to improving the skills of finance professionals in Ireland, in particular in the bookkeeping and professional accountancy areas. Courses on offer include the much sought after ACCA and CPA Ireland accounting qualifications. As well as the globally renowned AAT bookkeeping and accounting technician qualification, which was launched in Ireland in 2015. The professional jobs market continues to grow and StudyOnline.ie is aimed at those looking for a rewarding career in accountancy and finance.

15 years in business

Speaking at the launch, Managing Director, Vaeni MacDonnell said, “In our 15th year of business we have seen significant growth in the online classroom. We have been active in this area for the past number of years, and our experience is second to none. Testament to this was Cenit being awarded the contract to provide online tutoring to more than 8,000 SOLAS eCollege learners in multiple disciplines including accounting, ICT, project management & digital marketing.  Studyonline.ie is the next chapter for us and we look forward to continued success.”

Online learning isn’t new, but…

With the hectic schedule of busy professionals, demand for online courses has risen significantly in recent years. Online learning isn’t new, but the quality of offerings on the market leaves a lot to be desired. Speaking on this, Commercial Director, Cathal McNamara said, “StudyOnline.ie differs from others in that it is purely online. Course design and instructional methods are tailored to take account of this. Courses are recorded in HD and lecturers are speaking straight to camera directly to the student unlike recorded classrooms, which can be very impersonal and difficult to follow. Our courses are fully supported to ensure learner success. In addition, the flexibility offered to learners enables them to study any place, any time as well as providing significant cost savings in travel.”

StudyOnline.ie is accessible on any computer or mobile device with a broadband connection. Courses are currently open for enrolment with significant discounts. StudyOnline.ie is an approved educator for AAT, ACCA and CPA Ireland.
