The PRINCE2® 7th Edition Foundation & Practitioner programme provides a complete pathway for professionals who want to develop a structured, practical approach to project management.
Delivered over five consecutive training days, the programme combines the knowledge required for the Foundation certification with the practical application required at Practitioner level. Participants will develop the confidence to apply PRINCE2® principles, practices and processes to real-world project scenarios and organisational environments.
This programme is delivered by Cenit College in partnership with Positive2Work Skillnet, supporting private-sector professionals to access high-quality professional development and internationally recognised project management training.
This partnership enables eligible participants to access funding support towards the cost of the programme.

This five-day programme is delivered over two weeks, combining three days of PRINCE2® 7th Edition Foundation training with two days of Practitioner training.
Foundation: September 7-9th
Practitioner: September 14-15th
This programme is suitable for professionals who are involved in managing, supporting, delivering or overseeing projects, including:
- Project Managers and aspiring Project Managers
- Team Leads, Project Officers and Project Support staff
- Professionals involved in project planning, delivery or governance
- Programme and Portfolio professionals
- Stakeholders seeking a structured understanding of project management
- Professionals who require both Foundation and Practitioner certification
Foundation level – 3 days
Participants will develop an understanding of:
- The core concepts, principles and practices of PRINCE2® 7th Edition
- The roles, responsibilities and structure of a PRINCE2® project
- Key PRINCE2® management products and their purpose
- Project context and how PRINCE2® can be tailored
- The relationship between PRINCE2® principles, practices and project context
- The knowledge required to prepare for the Foundation examination
Practitioner level – 2 days
Participants will develop the ability to:
- Apply PRINCE2® principles, practices and processes to project scenarios
- Tailor PRINCE2® to different project types, scales and environments
- Create, assess and adapt PRINCE2® management products
- Apply the methodology to real-world project situations
- Embed PRINCE2® within wider organisational frameworks
- Prepare for the Practitioner examination
The programme is delivered live online through instructor-led sessions, providing participants with an interactive learning experience while allowing them to participate remotely. The programme includes:
- Live instructor-led sessions

- Breakout room activities
- Practical case studies
- Scenario-based learning
- Examination preparation
Total duration: 5 days
Format: 3 Foundation days + 2 Practitioner days
- Standard programme cost (before funding): €2,100 per person
- 30% Positive2Work Skillnet funding available
- Participant cost after funding: €1,470 per person
This price includes training delivery and exam fees.
Eligibility: To qualify for the funding, participants must be based in Ireland and employed in the private sector.
