PRiSM (PRojects integrating Sustainable Methods) Practitioner

*Level: Intermediate; suitable for lower/middle management.

This practical project management and sustainability course is intended to help project managers improve how they perceive, approach, handle, and promote change. The course combines classroom/virtual lectures with in-class case studies that use real-world examples to bring project management to life in a way that takes into account the demands of society and the environment and the needs of businesses in the modern economy.

Green Project Management (GPM) is the global leader in sustainable project management. GPM has developed the internationally recognized P5 Standard and PRiSMmethodology, which their training and certification programs are based on. GPM is recognised as a market leader and contributor to sustainable project delivery and change development. They have supported initiatives with private and public companies, educational institutions and NGOs, and all levels of government.

On completion of this course and the test exams you may choose to take the PSPO assessment exam. This assessment will challenge your thinking as an Agile leader. The assessment exam can be taken online at scrum.org.

To effectively handle and manage sustainability in projects and ensure that both the management of the project and the outcome are sustainable, you will learn the skills you need in this course.

PRiSM is not a replacement for any of the bodies of knowledge. Instead, it is a project management method that encompasses all the essentials for running a successful project based on sustainable principles. The method ensures the delivery of business objectives while reducing negative environmental impact.
